By car, North Conway is reached via Interstate 93 to Route 112 (the Kancamagus Highway) or via Route 16 from the south. From Vermont, it is a drive east across the White Mountains. The nearest major airport is Portland International Jetport in Maine, about an hour and a half away; Boston Logan is roughly three hours. There is no train or commercial bus service directly to North Conway. Once in town, a car is useful for exploring the surrounding area, though the village centre is walkable.
